The mild climate of the autumn and winter months is ideal toexplore the beautiful landscape. Here you can find a very good summary of the various routes. The villages in Costa Blanca also offer guided tours throughout the whole year as a tour through Benissa-Senija-Llíber-Jalón with wine tasting on 23 October (more information) and an excursion to the Montgó natural preserve at Dénia on 31 October (more information). |

► Month of international fiestas |
The 5th Multicultural Festival Benissa celebrated from 1 to 3 Octoberwas a big success. Local residents of 15 nationalities gave an insight into their culture with music, dances, gastronomy and handcrafts. (more information) 
German Oktoberfest is being celebrated in Calpe from 7to 17 October and is very popular. Mostly the German residents are looking forward to their Oktoberfest but other nationalities also come to celebrate every year. schedule |
